Nopales Rotos (2024) is a story about a creatures lurking in the Sonoran desert whose in desperation for autonomy.

This was created with Unreal Engine, Metahuman, and Substance Painter.

Rana y El Cuerpo (2024)

Rana y El Cuerpo, 2024. Beginning of a story about someone losing their body and teaming up with a frog to become whole again. Mixamo walking and running animations were used. Mateo sculpted and animated props, the boy, dog, and frogs.

BRING CHICAGO HOME (2024)

Bring Chicago Home, 2024, Public service announcement commissioned by Palenque LSNA and AnySquared. Mateo sculpted and texturized the sidewalk and house walls. Other props and foliage were sourced prefabs from Maya or PolyHaven.

Dyson is a game that is currently in production by Alexis Ramirez, PJ Brown, and Dahee Lee. It is a futuristic point and click top-down video game. The player is a botanist in a Post-Earth world that relies on bio-fuel. After some complications on thier ship capsule in space, the player must harvest energy from plants in isolation.

These are preliminary concept drawings I have contributed to the Dyson project. Using the plot written by my colleagues, I created a floor plan and all objects with input from my team along the way.

Alleyway

This is an untitled film in which I am currently the Art Director for is written and will be directed by Miles Erickson and these drawings are based on the script.

As the Art Director for this feature film currently in progress these are some illustrations for the Art Department to utilize for set dressing and lighting. The last photo is an exploration for a mask prop and a 3D model rendering.

This film is set in rural Chicago and it follows a woman struggling with power dynamics and her sense of self.
